Biological drug “Planriz-bio” contains bacteria Pseudomonas fluorescens, as well as biologically active substances in its composition that are produced during the process of cultivation.
How it works
Pseudomonas fluorescens bacteria, entering the soil along with the treated seeds, actively inhabit the rhizosphere (root system) of plants and, feeding on root isolates, produce enzymes and antibiotics that inhibit the root rot development. When treating vegetative plants, they are active against fungi, mold, gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria.
Pseudomonas fluorescens bacteria are producers of a complex of essential amino acids, cytochromes and vitamins that live symbiotrophically on the roots surface, stimulating the growth and development of plants, accelerating the passage of phases of plant development, increasing the biomass of plants (including the area of the leaf surface), increasing the yield of products, suppressing the development of pathogens of fungal and bacterial diseases and protecting plants from contamination when applied to the seeds before sowing and introducting to the soil and when sprayed on a leaf surface.
They have an ability to fix atmospheric nitrogen. In cold climatic conditions, nitrogen-fixating pseudomonads dominate in the plant’s rhizosphere over the representatives of other taxonomic groups of nitrogen fixators. The advantage of pseudomonads is expressed in their cold resistance, since the optimum temperature for nitrogen fixation is 14-20 ° С. At the same time, the temperature of 25 ° C is optimal for the process of nitrogen fixation of other associative diazotrophs.
Pseudomonas fluorescens bacteria may play an essential role in both associative and symbiotic nitrogen fixing communities, improving, for example, the formation of tubers in legumes when used jointly with some strains of Rhizobium and Bradyrhizobium.
Also, Pseudomonas fluorescens bacteria are capable of effectively dissolving phosphorus compounds due to the hydrolysis of organic phosphates under the influence of phosphatase and the dissolution of mineral phosphates due to the production of acids. These properties of microorganisms can be used to improve the phosphorus nutrition of plants, since only 5% of the total amount of phosphorus compounds found in the soil is available to plants.
For the cereal, vegetable, and berry crops, as well as flower plants, the biopharmaceutical “Planriz-bio” is effective against root rot, diseases of the leaf apparatus and plant stems (powdery mildew, downy mildew (false mildew), septoria blight (septoria spots), smut, foot rot (late blight), alternaria leaf mold (blight), cercosporosis, scab, monoliosis, gray rot and other diseases).
How to apply
Treatment of seeds with the biopharmaceutical Planriz shall be carried out 1-2 days before sowing, or on the day of sowing. Seeds of cereals are processed on the basis of standard semi-dry treatment technology using mordanting machines MM-10, MMS-3, “Mobitoks”.
Spraying the plants of vegetable crops and rape (brassica napus) starts with the phase of 3-4 true leaves, while the subsequent treatments are carried out at intervals of 7-10 days. In the case of peronosporosis occurrence in cucumbers, this interval is reduced to 5-7 days. Spraying potatoes against late blight is carried out with 7-10 days intervals. With other crops, prophylactic spraying is recommended at the first signs of the disease.
Norms of use. One shall use at least 300 liters of working solution for one hectare. Treatments are carried out after 6 pm, in the evening and at night or in the overcast weather during the day, prophylactically before the disease or at the onset of the disease. Repeat treatments are done in 7-10 days. It is compatible with growth promoters, microelements and some pesticides. Before use, be sure to shake it to get a homogeneous mass.

Terms and conditions of storage
The biopharmaceutical is stored in a sealed container in a dry, dark place at a temperature of +4ºС..+6ºС. Its shelf life is up to 3 months from the date of manufacture. Planriz can be combined with root and extra rootal micronutrient supplements.
