There are optimal conditions to protect corn, sunflower, vegetables, technical and other crops from the European corn borer, codling moth, cotton bollworm, turnip moth, Silver Y and other owlet moths in a harmless to the environment and people biological method, i.e. through the release of a natural insect trichogramma.
We appeal to the heads of farms, and intelligent well-versed specialists and field technologists!
Today, the market for trichogramma faces a massive fake.
Under the brand of trichogramma they sell roasted wheat farina, crushed pebbles, mica, waste products of trichogramma (mustache, paws, heads or trichogramma of the past years).
Roasted manna (wheat farina) without a magnifying glass looks similar to trichogramma eggs, and only when it is 20 times enlarged, one can see these grains have irregular shape, not ribbed, and they do not have a bluish tint. Qualitative trichogramma eggs have an oval shape, they are ribbed, are of black color with a bluish tint. See photo:

Be sure to visit the biolaboratory that manufactures the trichogramma to get acquainted with the production technology. The reason is, as practice shows, some ‘producers’ sell trichogramma without having a biolaboratory or premises for its production.
To the knowledge of managers and specialists:
Today, some producers of this product offer cheap (30-40 UAH) trichogramma, the so-called laboratorial or conventional trichogramma, which infects egg products of pests for 3-5 days.
Summer and oviposition of the European corn borer and cotton bollworm takes place in the period from 20 to 40 days, which requires releasing such a product at least 3 times.
The production of such a trichogramma starts in the heat, approximately from March, when it is almost unnecessary to heat the room with firewood, coal, gas.
One biolaboratory for March-June period can produce about 1-1.3 billion species of ordinary trichogramma on an area of 8-11 thousand hectares.
We offer a diapausing trichogramma that protects corn, sunflower, millet from European corn borer (Ostrinia nubilalis), cotton bollworm, Silver Y (Autographa gamma), and other types of owlet pest insects throughout the entire egg-laying period for pests, so it is advisable to produce a diapausing trichogramma, which cuts expenses for its distribution. The biological effectiveness of trichogramma in the cultivation of corn from these dangerous pests is more than 80 percent. The diapausing trichogramma produced by us is approved for the protection of agricultural crops in organic production in accordance with the standards of the European Union.
For the most effective use of trichogramma, our specialists carry out agronomic support, namely: determining the timing of the introduction, delivery of trichogramma to the farm, preparation of biomaterial for introduction, and they control the airlift together with the specialist of the farm.
The production of a diapausing trichogramma begins in autumn. If the company declares a diapausing trichogramma, at least 3 samples are submitted for analysis in the Ukrainian laboratory of quality and safety of bio-products: from autumn, winter and spring production, from each commodity lot.
The use of chemicals in combating these pests on corn crops is unpredictable, as efficiency is 10-20%, and the cost of cultivating one hectare is 600-900 hryvnias. In addition, according to the legislation of Ukraine, it is prohibited to carry out chemical processing near settlements, rivers, and ponds at a distance of less than 300-500 m.
Trichogramma means you’ll get your crop preserved, protect environment, reduce the use of pesticides, and this is primarily your children’s health protection, because the agricultural crop is used to produce baby food.
