It is prepared on the basis of different strains of bacteria of Rhizobium genus. It’s used for pre-sowing processing/treatment of seeds of peas, gooseberries, lentils, fodder beans, rhizomes and other leguminous plants.
How it works
Biopharmaceutical ‘Nitrogen fixator on legumes’ is the most well-known and widespread product in the world for providing high-quality nitrogen feeds of legumes. The basis of the inoculum is bulb bacteria of the genus Rhizobium. Legumes are capable for active nitrogen-fixing symbiosis, provided there are nitrogen-fixing bacteria in the root zone. The nitrogen produced in the process of symbiosis supplies the plant evenly during the entire vegetation, as well as during the flowering and filling of beans to the maximum extent.
The effect of Nitrogen fixator on legumes is based on the ability of useful microorganisms contained in it to absorb nitrogen from atmospheric air and transform it into forms accessible to plants, due to symbiotic connections with the plant to provide them with cheap, environmentally friendly nitrogen, to form a more developed root system, synthesize growth-stimulating substances, suppress the growth of phytopathogenic microflora.
It contributes to the biological improvement of soils and reduces the harmful effects of nitrates that accumulate as a result of unregulated application of mineral nitrogen fertilizers. Nitrogen-fixing bacteria, developing in the root zone of legumes, enrich the soil with biological nitrogen and additionally produce growth-stimulating substances. Also, ‘Nitrogen fixator on legumes’ can increase the utilization rate of nitrogen by plants derived from mineral fertilizers.
Speed of action
The action of the biopharmaceutical becomes noticeable after the emergence of legume crops sprouts.
Pre-sowing seed treatment with biosolution (or other called biochemical/biopharmaceutical) is implemented mechanically using MMS-3, MM-10 mordanting machines (in the original these are called ПСШ-3, ПС-10) and other machines, or it can be done manually with small volumes on a sowing day or 1-3 days before sowing. For this purpose one needs to add 4 liters of the drug solution to 6 liters of water and use it to treat 1 ton of seeds. Without allowing the suspension to settle, it is applied to the seeds, which are then carefully mixed for even distribution of the liquid. The seed treated with a biopharmaceutical must be protected from direct sunlight and overheating.
The packing material (container) with a biopharmaceutical is prohibited to open before the application time, which prevents sterility violation and bacteria death. If you violate the shelf life conditions with the subsequent application of the biological product, you may not reach the expected effect.
It’s recommended to use it in conjunction with biological chemical solutions to protect plants against diseases and pests.

Terms and conditions of storage
The biopharmaceutical is stored in a sealed container in a dry, dark place at a temperature of + 4ºС .. + 6ºС. Its shelf life is up to 3 months from the date of manufacture.
The preparation is made in accordance with the licensing agreement with the Institute of Microbiology and Virology named after academician Zabolotnyi D.K., Kiev city.
