Trichogramma is an entomophagous insect that is a natural pest control solution. It is cultivated by our biolaboratories, which have extensive experience and necessary equipment for the production of quality products. This method of fight allows engaging in organic farming and saving money on expensive and harmful pesticides!
How it works
In the period from May to October, various pests begin to breed and lay eggs. The forecast is formed, and on the basis of monitoring the flight and phenology of the pest's development, trichogramma is introduced using small aviation, unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) on large and medium areas or manually on small plots. The trichogramma finds the egg-laying of pests and lays its eggs therein, thus destroying the pest in the embryo.
How to apply
The release of trichogramma is carried out in two ways: at the beginning of the oviposition of the main types of owlet moths and European corn borer (Ostrinia nubilalis) and with the onset of mass oviposition. The number per hectare varies depending on the number of pests. The average norm is 100-200 thousand individuals per hectare.
In small areas, manor houses and country houses, one needs a container (a jar or a paper box) for manual entry that is filled with acacia leaves or another biomaterial is required and the animated individuals of the trichograms are put therein. Later the leaves populated with a trichogram are decomposed on the plot taking into account the norms per hectare.
On large and medium-sized farmfields with corn, sunflower, soybean, grain and other crops the discharge outlet is done using small aircraft (hang-gliders, lilienthal snipes), UAVs (drones) equipped with a GPS system. The trichogramm is mixed with the filler (manna groats) for further resettlement in the fields in proportions 1/10.
Advantages
Spectrum of action:
Crops: beets, winter crops, perennial plants, millet, sunflower, vegetables, corn, fruit and berry crops.
Against pests: leaf-eating owlet moths and cut worms, European corn borer (Ostrinia nubilalis), garden pests, American white butterfly, meadow butterfly, silkworms, leaf rollers, moths, seedworm (Laspeyresia) and others.
Storage terms
It’s best first 30 days at a temperature of +2°C..+3°С and humidity of 85-90%. Avoid direct sun rays.
